One hour of witness and prayer
Life Chain is a day of public witness and prayer. It takes place simultaneously in many locations and lasts one hour. Thousands of people stand in silence along streets to affirm respect for every human life, from conception to natural death.
A small pro-life group held the first Life Chain in Yuba City, California, in 1987. In 1990 it came to Canada, where it has borne witness for more than thirty years, saving lives and changing hearts.
How it works
Find the place and time of the Life Chain in your area, then come and stand for one hour on the sidewalk with others who publicly and unashamedly witness to their pro-life convictions.
The local organizer will hand you a sign, and you can pray silently for an end to abortion and for all those it touches.
